The annual preeminent national conference on philanthropy, Ghana Giving Summit is a gathering of philanthropy associations, support organisations, networks, advisories, funders, academic centres and other philanthropic stakeholders in Ghana and the diaspora that provides a unique opportunity to network, learn from each other and co-create to make a greater impact. Building upon the success of previous editions, the 4th Ghana Giving Summit (GGS) will be hosted under the overarching theme of Activating Radical-Local Philanthropy in Ghana Towards fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).

Overview

The 4th GGS has been rebranded as an ecosystem-led event and will be held in Accra, Ghana on December 5, 2023. We are pleased to invite members, partners, and stakeholders to submit abstracts for session proposals that align with GGS’s objectives. The conference provides a unique opportunity to explore the evolving landscape of African philanthropy and contribute to shaping its future.

Philanthropy Ghana’s theme for this year’s conference “Activating Radical-Local Philanthropy in Ghana Towards fulfilment of the SDGs” aims to mobilize resources, tap into local knowledge, and empower communities to drive sustainable development towards the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
